After more than six years of project development with our client, we are so pleased that this brand new rooftop terrace has now opened adjacent to Tamarind Indian restaurant in Mayfair.

This project presented us with numerous complications and hurdles to overcome, including a complex party wall agreement, structural difficulties due to building on a roof top that housed air conditioning and other plant units from the restaurant, and working around an existing mature tree! The site is within a Conservation Area and had to be designed with careful consideration to the neighbouring buildings. The restaurant also remained fully open and operational whilst building work was taking place.

Holding over 50 covers, the new rooftop terrace can be enjoyed year round thanks to its bespoke retractable canopy. The before and after photos show just how much work and detailing has gone into transforming this space!
